The Trust is a registered charity under charity number 1056734. We are run by a committee made up of members of most of the mainstream churches in Lichfield.
Our constitution lays out the fundamental principles and precedents according to which The Lichfield Christian School's Work Trust is governed. Any subsequent amendments to the constitution require the approval of 75% of the Lichfield Christian Schools Work Trust Committee.
There are four trustees and when vacancies arise nominations are taken from the committee and Trustees then approve the appointment. There are also positions of Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Minute Secretary. Each Christian church who is a member of Churches Together in Lichfield is invited to send a representative.
Every five years,
or as required, a Review Group shall be appointed by the Committee
to report and to make proposals for
desirable changes.
The aims and objectives of the Trust are to encourage young people and adults in our schools to consider the Christian faith and its application in their own lives.
School Workers are paid by the Trust and contracts are reviewed annually. The Shepherds Crook Puppet Team work on a voluntary basis and occasional contributions towards expenses are given. An accountant audits the books annually.
